TurboTax is offering Military Officer Free Filing if done by Feb 28th. USAA has partnered with TurboTax to offer free or discounted tax filing for eligible military members and USAA members. Whether you’re enlisted, an officer, or a civilian USAA member, you can save on filing your federal and state taxes—just by starting from the USAA co-branded TurboTax site.
Officers (Active-Duty & Reserves):
- Free TurboTax Online Deluxe (federal only)
- Must start filing between December 4, 2024 and February 28, 2025
- Must file by February 28, 2025
- Not valid for TurboTax Online Premium, TurboTax Live Assisted, TurboTax Full-Service, or desktop products
- If using any version other than Online Deluxe, you will receive the 20% USAA discount

- Start TurboTax through the USAA co-branded site
- Use your military W-2 and verify your rank
- The discount or free offer will be automatically applied when you file
- Offers not valid on TurboTax CD/Download or TurboTax Live Full-Service products (unless otherwise noted)
